The Medical ward is located on the western end of the hospital building. It shares a roof along with the maternity department and is surrounded by a lush garden and beautiful views of the sea. When you visit the medical ward you are greeted by our smiling staffs and doctor who are always happy to help out.
The medical ward consists of 22 beds including 1 ICU room, 1 isolation room and a special separate room for tourists and the outer island patients. There is one Medical Ward Doctor, 1 Nurse in Charge and 8 registered nurses, 1 enrolled nurse and 2 compassionate nurses with 2 NCD Clinic nurses.
We pride ourselves in providing a warm and welcoming environment for both patients and their families. We strive to give the best quality care and support to all in their time of need. We are people focused who value and respect all who come under our care.
Care is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as we operate on a shift work basis (7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm, and 11pm – 7am).
We encourage you to visit our patients. Visiting hours are: Monday – Saturday 2pm – 3pm.7pm-8pm & Sunday 2pm – 4pm.
