Te Marae Ora (TMO) wishes to provide the following update:
The Cook Islands remains COVID-19 free.
A cohort of 145 returning Cook Islands residents and permit holders arrived in Rarotonga last Thursday afternoon. This is third cohort to return in six weeks.
The returnees were all swabbed early that evening for their Day Zero test and late Thursday night it was confirmed that all had returned negative tests results for COVID-19.
Their next test – the Day 5 test – will be undertaken tomorrow morning.
